You know that wonderful feeling you get from doing something nice for someone? It's like Christmas only better, because in April no one expects it. My amazing friend Quinn is the best reading teacher ever, but she spends her entire life trying to find texts to read with her students (they read novels, but no one can teach every single lesson in ELA with a novel!)  went to Scarce in Glen Ellyn, IL, an amazing free resource for teachers, to get some new books for my kids AND... got an entire set of 7th/8th reading textbooks for Quinn! I was so excited I was wiggling around like a puppy. :) (She did like them, but even if she hadn't the excitement was enough for me!)
